Introducing

People often tell me that I have  a different way of looking at life, but I view life as a sense of being who you are; when you are supposed to be that person. I believe in the truth and telling it like it is. Most people do not like honesty, but they do appreciate it. Sometimes we all get so busy that we lose who we are and what is important.  This blog will be an attempt to share some of my trivial thoughts and profound views with the world and hopefully help a few people along the way.

As the title implies; I urge you to be smart in everything you do.  Take a lesson away from each challenge you face in life. To be present in all your dealings and to be prepared for the outcome.

Trust me, I know these are just words, but words can heal or hurt. I am mother, a sister, a daughter, a student, an employee, an associate, a relative and a friend.  Many of the same things you all are.  In my journey I have found there are a lot of people out there who want to do something...anything, but they do not know where to begin.  I have done a whole lot of little things and I have been successful in a little bit of big things. 

Since I was young, I have stored a tremendous amounts of useless information in my brain.  As I got older, I realized a few people find that information useful. Through this blog I will share this information with you.  If there is something you always wanted to know, but did not know who to ask, here is your chance.

Knowing When To Let Go

Folks with well intentions can bring more pain and stress on themselves all at the expense of someone else’s actions or lack thereof. Not everyone is open to good advice or a helping hand.  There may be things going on behind the scenes of their life that we are not aware of that may prevent them from being receptive.  Whatever the reason or the situation, I am here to tell you that it is not your burden to bare, you really have to know when to let go and be okay with that. I love God and I love myself.  I am a mother and a sister.  I am a woman and I am a black woman.  I am a spiritual seeker and an analyst.  I am a powerhouse and an entrepreneur.  I am a lover and a fighter. I am a peacemaker and a deal breaker.  I am strong and I am weak. I am everything I want to be and I am everything I want to be. I am angry and I’m soft.  I am mean and I am nice. I am a technology lover and I yearn for the good old days.  I will put the hammer down and I will lift you up.  I am these things and so much more.  My journey is continuous and evolving so stay tuned.
